We want Attune to be usable by everyone. This page says where it stands, including the parts that are not good enough yet — a statement that only lists the wins is not worth reading.

What we aim at

WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We have not been independently audited against it and we will not claim conformance we have not tested.

What works today

• The whole app runs as text and forms — no drag, no swipe gesture, nothing that needs a steady hand or a mouse.
• Keyboard navigation throughout, with visible focus outlines.
• Every interview question can be answered by typing, by choosing from a list, or both.
• Text reflows down to a phone screen with no sideways scrolling.
• Colour is never the only way something is communicated.
• Text scales with your browser or system setting.
• These information pages are plain HTML and work without JavaScript.

Known problems

Being specific about these is the point of the page.

• The liveness check needs a camera and head movement. It asks you to turn your head and blink. If you cannot do that, you currently cannot complete sign-up, and there is no alternative route. This is the most serious gap we have and we know it.
• The interview is long. Around twenty questions with follow-ups. That is demanding for anyone with fatigue, pain, or concentration difficulty. Your progress is saved and you can leave and come back at any point.
• Screen-reader testing has been limited. We have not tested thoroughly with NVDA, JAWS or VoiceOver, so some labels are likely to be wrong or missing.
• Colour contrast has not been measured across every screen against the AA threshold.
• There is no captioning or transcript feature, because there is no audio or video content yet.

If something blocks you

Write to [email protected] and say what you were trying to do and what stopped you. If a check is what is blocking you, say so — we would rather find another way to get you in than lose you to a step that was not designed with you in mind.

We treat accessibility reports the same as any other bug: something to fix, not a favour.
